Do men lose weight faster than women?

Liliana Grimberg, the Nutrition Coordinator of the Dr. Maximo Ravenna Therapeutic Center, explained that men lose twice as much weight as women at the same time because their body retains less fluid since they are not affected by so many changes hormones periodically.

What is the most recommended method to lose weight?
There are no magic recipes: Grimberg recommends, for both men and women, a healthy and balanced diet that involves four meals a day with measured portions that include:
- low-Fat Dairy
- Lean Meats
- Integral Rice
- Drink at least 2 liters of water daily
- Reduce or Eliminate Refined Flours
- Moderate Salt Intake
- Avoid Alcoholic Beverages
- Doing Physical Activity
